Comparison of the policy of integration of people with disabilities and special educational needs in the labor market in Greece with other European countries. Differences and similarities

There is a need to improve the policies and practices implemented by Higher Education Institutions to enhance the transition of graduates with disabilities to the labour market. There needs to be a more direct and closer connection between universities and the labour market by developing partnerships for a smoother transition of graduates to the labour market. In the preparation of this article, good practices from universities were recorded. It was observed that the provision of services by universities such as internship offices are important and very useful, as, as has been established, professional experience contributes greatly to the professional rehabilitation of graduates with disabilities. Also, career offices, which provide support in terms of employment, support from mentors and seminars that develop skills for finding a job are considered to be quite helpful.
